About Us

Vinyl Cafe is an online record shop designed to connect people with the records they love. We buy, sell and trade used records and have a continuous stock of new and interesting music coming in. 

Location.

Our Warehouse is located in Yzerfontein 90km north of Cape Town on the west coast, South Africa. If you would like to sell your vinyl records please contact us: here - we will travel to most destinations in the Cape Town area. 

We aim to stock a wide range of music on previously owned vinyl records. We also stock inner and outer covers for your records to keep your collection looking and sounding great. 

If you cannot find what you are looking for on the website you can either sign up to our mailing list (at the bottom of the page) where we regularly send out updates on new stock, or contact us about it and we will try and get it for you. We have a lot of records in our warehouse that aren't on the site, so chances are we will find it. 

Grading.

We try to be as accurate as possible when grading used records. As collectors we know how frustrating it is to get a scratched record, when it was promised to be a minty one. See our grading page for more info on how we grade our records. All of our used records are given new inner sleeves if necessary and all our records are housed in protective plastic outer sleeves prior to sale. 

Payment.

You can pay any way you want! Pay using all major credit cards, or EFT. Please note that EFTs from smaller banks may take longer to process than instant EFTs done through the payfast website. 

Trust.

Our checkout page is hosted by shopify and our payments are processed by Payfast. What this means for you is that all transactions are ultra secure, you have nothing to worry about when using Vinyl Cafe. 

How The Site Works.

We have designed this website with ease of use in mind, however, if you have difficulty please drop us a mail and we will attend to the issue as quickly as possible. Our newsletter is infrequent and excellent, You can either sign up through your profile, at the bottom of the page, or at checkout by selecting "accept marketing." We don't do spam.
